BATTLES I'M AVOIDING - Where have you gone passive? The conversation with your wife, you keep postponing. The discipline your kid needs that you're too tired to enforce. The financial mess you're pretending isn't there.

GROUND I NEED TO TAKE - What has God clearly shown you to do that you haven't done?

Lead family worship. Get out of debt. Cut off that friendship. Have that talk.

5 minutes of honesty on paper will reveal more about your spiritual life than 5 years

of passive Bible reading.

Because most Christian men read Scripture looking for comfort.

Biblical men read Scripture looking for commands.

"To obey is better than sacrifice." (1 Samuel 15:22)
