I actually do understand the solace of doing creative work early; since moving to a way of eating that complements my genetic condition, I have found my sleep requirements to be far less, with never an instance of feeling worn out. And I wake at 3:00 am and have great discussions in prayer, my journal, or looking at designs that I may someday market for sale. I'm actually fine with the migration to Gumroad; many 3D printing artists I follow use Gumroad to handle remuneration for royalty-free print files.
